Thanks, again, Sarah K for starting the thread today on East Coast time. Yes, there is something in the change of seasons and the news that has a lot of us feeling grief and loss more acutely. Or anxiety and fear, or all of them. Let’s be kind to ourselves.  

For me, yesterday didn’t get any better, but trying for a mental and mood reset today. 

I have some collage starts going. Turns out that making sketches ahead of time helps with a starting point. A beginning diagram or plan. Then, with a quiet mind, things can veer off into something more interesting.

Today or tomorrow I will bite the bullet and do some writing of artist’s statements and descriptions of bodies of work. Going to start keeping a notebook of thoughts as I work (thx Amanda and Kathryn). I also will re-engage with Amie Potsic after a couple of months.

I am NOT posting any videos or links or stuff to look at or listen to today. Like Kathryn, I feel a little overwhelmed by all of the great resources, but feel the need to spend less time in front of the computer and more time in silence for a day or two.
