I came across this quote yesterday that I wanted to share with you. “Remind yourself of what you love about your creative pursuit. Before it was something you associated with guilt or money or deadlines or pressure or lost opportunities or things that went wrong, it was something you did out of love for the process. Before you begin your practice each day, identify what you love about it. And then begin.”

Writer Nina LaCour penned the thoughts above. I learned about her in this email blast from If You Were Here Now. I am excited for their online art PRACTICE session in January. I think I will sign up for a 2021 boost.

My Friday: Another full day using my prime energy for the stuff that nourishes my well-being and art practice (coffee, meditation, yoga and artmaking). The afternoon will be for art admin tasks and reading. See some of you at 3pm PST!
