2022, acrylic, gesso, latex and prismacolor on pieced found fabric, 71" x 40".
This work was initially created in 2008 and entitled "Partial Confession". The piece was painted on a tablecloth I sewed and used while married.
Years later, I've reconfigured the piece and renamed it "Coda", after a musical piece's concluding section.
Making this piece marks an end to a life chapter, and a new beginning
